I joined the Air Force in 1982, enlisting for six years as a Munitions Systems Specialist, or "Ammo" (IYAAYAS!). I was assigned or traveled to FL, SC, CO, CA, NV, NC, TX, most of Western Europe, Saudi, Bahrain and Turkey. Initial diagnosis at Walter Reed Army Medical Ctr in D.C. in my 21st year of service. Medically retired in Jan 2003.
