I very much enjoyed 21 years of military service as a B-52 command pilot. Married my high school sweetheart Rachel, and we have 4 children and 3 granddaughters. Before this disease began, I was an avid runner, biker, hiker, skiier... pretty much any outdoor activity! Now difficult to do the simplest things like eating and drinking, but stubbornly hanging on to doing what I still can. We are very thankful for the ALSA expertise and support and encouraged by the research that will soon find a cure for ALS.
