Air Force 1951-52, US Army 1954-73 — I am a proud 20 year veteran of the cold war. I entered the Air Force in December of 1951 when I was 15 years old and I retired from the Army in May of1973. I served at several stateside posts, 5 years in Europe and 6 years in the far east. I am proud to have served in six airborne units. I was diagnosed with ALS February 2010. That has sure changed my "bucket list". I still exercise regularly, take specific diet supplements, and blessed with slow progression. I’ve been married to my wife, Betty, for 56 years.
