I live with my wife of 35 years and am a father of 7 children, grandfather of 18 and great grandfather of 3. I was diagnosed with ALS on September 23, 2010. This horrible disease has robbed me of the ability to speak where others can understand me and eat most foods. I have lost muscle strength and can no longer do many things I would like to do. We will continue to fight this disease in hope of a cure someday.
