David Kennedy

Branch: Air Force
Served: 1966 - 1968
Hometown: Pittsburgh, PA
I served in the Airforce in Japan. I was named “Airman of the Month” during my service. I returned to Pittsburgh after my first child was born. I was very active in the boy scouts and girl scouts with my children. I worked with computers, or as my wife called it, as a “professional nerd.” In 2007 I began tripping frequently. I went to a neurologist who diagnosed me with ALS and told me I had 1-3 years to live. 2011 marks year 4. I equates my success to being able to live at home and my great nurses.
