My dad, Rev David J Bell passed away Sept 8, 2018. On the day that ALS was likely the diagnosis, he said that he was proud to suffer for all of the men who didn't get to come home. He did. He came home and lived a very full life. This not only showed the Marine in him, but Christ in his heart. He wasn't thinking of himself and the deadly diagnosis but of the others who didn't get to come home. Thank you for your service.
