Doug Butcher
Doug Butcher was referred by the Kentucky Chapter and nominated by the Board Development and Nominating Committee. A native of the state of Kentucky and a graduate from the University of Kentucky, Mr. Butcher is a Vice President at CBRE/Louisville and joined the company in 2001 focusing his efforts on Industrial Services. He spends his time developing new accounts in the landlord/seller representation arena, as well as in investment opportunities in the Louisville area.
Butcher became a member of the Board of Directors of The ALS Association Kentucky Chapter in December 2007. He served as the 2010 Walk to Defeat ALS Chair and the 2008 Corporate Co-Chair for the Louisville Walk to Defeat ALS. Previously a member of the Board of Directors of the local March of Dimes chapter from 2005-2010, Butcher participated on their Commercial Real Estate Achievements Committee.
In addition to his work with The ALS Association, Butcher serves on several civic committees, such as the Citizen’s Advisory Committee of the Louisville Day Treatment, a program for troubled youth; the Kentucky Association for Economic Development Membership Committee; the Louisville Sports Commission Paul Hornung Awards Committee; and the LogistiX Games Committee, and he also volunteers with the Special Olympics.
