Before ALS, My Brother Was Healthy and Active

Bernadine W. Utica, Mississippi

My brother was diagnosed with ALS seven years ago: he was a very healthy and active young man who like to help other people, especially his mother. My brother is 56 years old, and now he is bedridden in a nursing home. He can not talk or do anything for himself, but he is still in his right mind; he uses eye contact to talk. We need help with this.
