The ALS Association

It's an Honor to Be a Part of The ALS Association

Holly K. Westminster, Colorado

When I joined The ALS Association as a staff member, I didn't have a personal connection to Lou Gehrig's Disease. Now I have several personal connections. I have had the opportunity to meet some incredibly strong and inspiring people here in the Rocky Mountain region (Colorado and Wyoming) who have been faced with this awful disease. While it can be emotionally frustrating to be reminded that we don't have a cure for this disease, it is motivating to know The ALS Association is here to give people support, assistance, and guidance. It's an honor to be part of such an incredible organization and to coordinate the Walk to Defeat ALS.
