My Mom's Bravery Was Commendable

Connie K. Elyria, Ohio

My wonderful mother was diagnosed with ALS in February 2011 and passed away April 2011. Prior to that she did show signs but was misdiagnosed. Once we found out in February it shook our world. She was wonderful wife of 40+years, mother of three girls and grandmother of seven. Those two months were so hard to watch; my heart ached for her. Her bravery is so commendable. I pray daily that there is a cure, and no other person would suffer from it or have to watch their loved one go through it. I know that there will be a cure. May God bless everyone and give us a peace that surpasses all understanding.
