The ALS Association

I Am Truly Inspired by the PALS and CALS I Have Met

Natalie P. St. Louis, Missouri

It wasn't until I started working at The ALS Association St. Louis Regional Chapter in 2013 that I became educated about ALS and the effect it has. As Development Coordinator, I have the pleasure of working alongside many PALS, caregivers, families and volunteers. Every time I meet a new patient or patient family, my dedication to the cause is reinforced. I am lucky enough to be planning the Walk to Defeat ALS as well as our Memorial Golf Tournament. These two events not only raise funds for patient care services and research but they also raise awareness for our cause throughout our community. This knowledge makes me work 10 times harder to reach our fundraising goals. I am truly inspired by the PALS and CALS I have met while working with The ALS Association, and I enjoy sharing their stories of courage with everyone who is willing to listen.
