My story is about a very rare and amazing man, who had never been sick a day in his life, has worked hard all of his life since he was 15. He loves to repair, replace and remodel anything. We have been married 34 years, and I have enjoyed him everyday. He worked in the film industry as a telecine operator. In normal language he made the movies great to view. I used to tell him he watched TV all day long. He worked at Crest National Film Labs in Hollywood, California. He has won awards for all of his work in the film industry. His greatest award was for the restoration of "Gone With the Wind" in 1985 from Video Review. His hobby was restoring antique cars: he has a 1931 Chrysler and a 1933 Chevy truck, both of which he will never be able to drive again due to ALS. We found out one year ago that he has ALS, and it has been the worst thing that could happen to anyone. He cannot eat, has a PEG tube, he can not talk, has lost the control of his arms and hands, so he can not work on his cars anymore or even drive them. I stay home with him and try to help him get thru this the best that I can. I had to close my business the end of 2012, so I can be home with him all day.
